Kate Hoyland

Working with a counsellor who is not part of your everyday life can give you the chance to explore your thoughts and feelings from a new perspective. By doing so, it may be possible for you to find a deeper understanding, acceptance and clarity.

Whether you are facing difficult experiences at the moment, or trying to work out something from the past, I hope to offer a space for you that is safe and contained, in which healing is possible. My core training is Person Centred (Humanistic), which means I believe in each individual's ability to reach their potential in the right environment.

Here are some of the areas in which I have experience working with people:

  • Bereavement and loss
  • Stress
  • Family & relationship issues
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Low self-esteem
  • Illness
  • Redundancy and career issues
  • Bullying and work-related stress
  • Trauma
  • Assertiveness
  • Child-related issues

If any of this resonates with you, please do get in touch.
